From AI Idea to Executable Use Case Workshop
Have an AI idea but aren’t sure whether it is the right opportunity to pursue?
Join the Georgia Technology Authority Office of Artificial Intelligence for an interactive, in-person workshop designed to help public-sector leaders and professionals move from an AI idea or business problem toward a more clearly defined and actionable use case.
Facilitated by North Highland, this 90-minute session will provide practical approaches for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing AI opportunities in a public-sector environment.
Organizations often recognize the potential of AI but face a more difficult question:
Which opportunities are actually worth pursuing, and how do we determine what should move forward?
During this workshop, participants will work through practical considerations for evaluating potential AI use cases, including value, feasibility, risk, data readiness, responsible AI, governance, and prioritization.
Participants will explore how to:
- Identify business problems that may be appropriate for AI
- Recognize characteristics of a strong AI use case
- Evaluate potential opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk, and data readiness
- Incorporate responsible AI considerations early in the decision-making process
- Think through governance and intake for AI opportunities
- Prioritize potential use cases and identify practical next steps
The session will include facilitated discussion and applied activities using public-sector examples. The goal is not to leave with a fully implemented AI solution, but with a stronger framework for determining which ideas are ready to move forward and what may be needed next.

This workshop is designed for public-sector leaders and professionals who have a role in identifying, evaluating, influencing, approving, managing, or advancing technology opportunities within their organizations.
