Broadening Horizons

Language Translation for Driver’s Tests

GTA is partnering with vendors in the Horizons Innovation Lab to pilot a language translation solution for DDS Knowledge Exams. Limited availability of in-person translators can restrict access for some test takers. This proof of concept is designed to augment existing capacity, reduce delays, and improve equitable access to services.

Qualified Partners

In 2024, GTA opened a Request for Qualified Contractors (RFQC) to identify a pool of service providers that can partner with state agencies to solve real-world problems and streamline government operations. Working through the AI Innovation Lab, these selected vendors will develop Proofs of Concept (POCs), explore cutting-edge solutions, and prototype ideas that will accelerate the adoption of AI technologies across Georgia government.
