Innovation Lab Intro

The AI Innovation Lab, a creative space located within GTA headquarters at 47 Trinity Avenue SW in Atlanta, will enable state agencies to collaborate with a roster of qualified partners in a secure environment on projects to improve Georgia government. The Lab's key mission is to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies.

Our qualified partners will work with state agencies to:

  • Identify business challenges and optimization opportunities, drive scale
  • Provide information and proposals for technology-driven solutions
  • Build and evaluate Proofs of Concept (POCs) using synthetic data

Streamlining Fair Housing Complaint Intake Using Generative AI Technology

How can the State of Georgia’s Commission on Equal Opportunity improve the intake and investigations capacity of its Fair Housing Division? This project proposes expediting the Fair Housing complaint intake process using artificial intelligence tools. This project was completed as part of the 2024 Tech Executive Leadership Initiative (TELI) hosted in conjunction with the Tech Talent Project.

In 2024, GTA opened a Request for Qualified Contractors (RFQC) to identify a pool of service providers that can partner with state agencies to solve real-world problems and streamline government operations. Working through the AI Innovation Lab, these selected vendors will develop Proofs of Concept (POCs), explore cutting-edge solutions, and prototype ideas that will accelerate the adoption of AI technologies across Georgia government.
